Would they move Palmer up from SECN?

Palmer is a color commentator man. Gotta have a play-by-play for Blackledge.

Maybe Mussberger? I doubt he agrees due to the fact that he's moved to different analyst in such short time. He's been with Danielson when he was with ESPN, Bob Davie, to Kirk, to now Palmer. Not a big deal really, but it does mess with your chemistry. But Brett also does basketball, so he's pretty used to it.

I don't like Jameel Hill either, and I will listen to another station if she's on.

This is such a meh loss, honestly.
Just about every loss is a meh loss.

For the vast majority of these guys, ESPN makes them popular, not the other way around. There will be the next Dilfer and Bayless waiting in the wings and will become popular as an analyst soon.

Trent Dilfer is one of the best analysts ESPN has to offer in the NFL. Except for the rare extremely popular anchor such as SVP, you can never please message board nerds, every time one of these threads are started, you'll get the inevitable "this dude sucks" regardless of the talent level.

Wonder who Blackledge will get paired up with.

wouldn't shock me if they move Mussburger back over there from the SECN broadcasts, but who knows. There really aren't many other well-known voices left to do college football at ESPN. Is Sean McDonnough still at ESPN?

I get the feeling ESPN is quickly realizing people mainly tune in for the live sporting event and there is no reason to be paying talking heads as much as they were. These were probably contracts they signed when subscriber ship was much higher.

With that said I am not sure how they let Tirico get away.

This. Not sure wtf everyone is talking about except the ill-fated attempts to be cool.

ESPN is supposed to cut nearly 250 million dollars in 2016, this shouldn't be a surprise.

Some on air personalities are making it easy for them.
