Bernal can win the Tour in the Alps

Rest day tomorrow is what Alaphillipe needed.
Fantastic stage it showed they are willing to attack this year.

Nice ride from Pinot...he’s willing to go down fighting. JA had a rough spot at the end. Is he at the end of his rope and there is a good possibility that Thomas might come good in the alps? So much that might happen it’s wonderful there are so many options left with this tour. This is a hell of a race. Best in a long time.

JA will be popped. He is fading similarly to Yates in the 2018 Giro. I think he will come completely undone in 18 or 19. G moves into the lead and we go from there

Pinot is going to battle Kwik, Thomas, and Bernal for this. Maybe Alaphilippe hangs onto yellow on stage 18 with all of the descending, but I think that will be the last stage he holds it, if he can even manage that. Like I said, when we see back to back climbing stages with all the strong teams attacking, he will be left alone. I still like my pick of Pinot from the beginning. Really impressed with Buchmann.

What a great tour. These guys are destroying Quintana on the post race show

Quintana is one of the least tactically astute riders I have ever seen. You get the feeling neither he, Valverde, or Landa can stand each other at all. I doubt after he moves to Arkea-Samsic next year he will be heard of much again.

He’s been the revelation of the tour for me maybe outside of JA. Good talent whose going to be fun to watch.

It was so tough to see JA go from .. my god he may just pull this off.. to bonked in literally 1 minute. I hope he can hold on. He is a great face for the sport. Either way this has been an absolutely FANTASTIC tour thus far and the last week could get epic

I hope he can hold on

G has crashed and hit the deck pretty hard apparently. Not sure on his current condition.
