There extremely average teams are beating the teams from every other conference....:
The hyprocrisy flip flop this year has been great
Sec fans used to say "don't simply look at losses, our conference is so tough we may lose more but we are the best!! They lost to the one decent team they played!!"
And big 10 fans would say "they have more losses, being in a tougher conference is bulkshit!!"

How'd the 10 win top 20 NW look against Kentucky? NW only lost 2 games in that conference. Looked pretty similar to Kentucky to me.
OSU is better than USC. So are plenty teams. OSU's offense wasn't exactly impressive in that game.
Purdue and Arizona both suck and played a close game.
I guess maybe Iowa's win was cool? And MSU kicked butt.
The SEC gained conference pride after they started butt fricking the world of college football for years. The B1G is getting pretty goddamn good and they'll get the benefit of the doubt because of it.
Can't get run out of the stadium against Iowa. Can't get run out of the stadium by Iowa as your 2nd loss. Can't get run of out the stadium by Iowa as your 2nd loss after getting into the playoff in slightly controversial fashion a couple times...one of those times getting mitigated in the playoff.

They won without their starting QB, and some very inept coaching?
Also, that yardage and TOP victory.

That didn't happen.

Separately, there was less controversy both times the Buckeyes got in than there is this year.

A national title is obtained by winning against elite teams, not by not losing to mediocre ones....
Bama is 0-1 vs top 10 teams
OSU is 3-1 vs top 10 teams, 2-1 going into the playoffs

That is exactly what the committee is doing. They are throwing blind darts at a board trying to guess which teams are the best because they don't have a clue. And what we got was two teams from an awful conference
What?
2014: 1 loss SEC Champ Alabama, 1 loss PAC-12 Champ Oregon, undefeated and defending national champion FSU, 1 loss B1G Champ Ohio State who ended up winning it all.
What dartboard was needed? TCU and Baylor had an argument for getting in, but that would have meant leaving the eventual national champs out. CFP committee was vindicated in hindsight.
2015: 1 loss SEC Champ Alabam who went on to win it all, undefeated ACC Champ Clemson, 1 loss B1G Champ Michigan State, 1 loss Big12 Champ Oklahoma.
Only other one loss teams were Iowa and Ohio State and both lost to Michigan State who was destroyed 38-0 by Bama. Should the committee have pretended like the Spartans didn’t beat both of them?
Again, what fricking dartboard was needed?
2016: undefeated and defending national champion Alabama, 1 loss ACC Champ Clemson who ended up winning it all, 1 loss PAC-12 Champ Washington and 1 loss Ohio State.
Only other team with an argument was Penn State who, which was pointed out every other post by Buckeyea fans, had two losses including a 39-point loss to Michigan. Everyone else also had two or more losses.
Where’s the guesswork?
I get it, man. People are tired of Alabama. But pulling out the tinfoil or claiming the committee is throwing darts while blindfolded and drunk is just goddamn stupid.

6-0.
The committee just bought out the Bama fan store.

What a travesty. A one loss Alabama team can't be a top 4 team!!!
You misunderstand me.
What I say to you is that a one loss Alabama team WILL ALWAYS be in the playoffs, no matter what.
Even if four teams are undefeated, one of them will be bumped for Alabama.
That's why it always makes sense to make a little bet on Bama to win it all before every season starts -- you know for sure that they will be in the playoffs because you know for sure that they will be undefeated or lose only one.

No way. If Ohio State had just one loss this year, your premise wouldn’t hold water.
Just stop melting down.

A 1 loss OSU gets in over Alabama this year. Easily.
But they didn't only have 1 loss.
Because they had the propensity to suck dick at football at times this season.

Nah. No rematches from the CFP committee. Bama still in with Oklahoma.

A two loss big ten team is never better than a 1 loss SEC team

Why? The SEC was awful this year

The big 10 is currently on there way to being 7-0 in bowls and 3-0 on NY6 bowls with cotton bowl, fiesta bowl, and orange bowl wins
Sec is 1-3
