one of the biggest victories for both Boise and TCU this year is Oregon State
Oregon State is 5-5
Miami and Michigan are 7-4, Illinois is 6-5
If TCU or Boise had played any of those teams they would be pointing to them as one of their strongest tests of the year

Step it up, travel and go play some of the big boys in other conferences. Then your argument will have merit. Until then you're just blowing smoke up peoples asses.
Just to add to this point...
And don't demand top dollar in return. You're a mid-major. You deserve mid-major dollars.

Boise and TCU need to both play 4 BCS conference schools each during the regular season before they can even start to bitch about being left out.
They can easily do it. They just don't want to have to earn their media coverage and media dollars.

Who does TCU have scheduled?

TCU games against the "big boy BCS opponents":
2010 Baylor 45-10 (BU held to a season low)
neut Org St. 30-21
Texas scheduled but backed out
Texas tech scheduled but backed out
2009 @Virginia 30-14
@Clemson 14-10
2008 Stanford 31-14
@Oklahoma 10-35 loss OK in NC this year
2007 Baylor 27-0
@Texas 13-34 loss
@Stanford 38-36
2006 @Baylor 17-7
Ttech 12-3
2005 @Oklahoma 17-10
bowl Iowa St 27-24
So 11/13 in BCS games since joining the MWC with losses to a national championship OK, and a 10-3 Texas both away games. BTW only 4/13 were home games.
future games include LSU, ARK, OK, Baylor, TTech, and Virginia.

Half of your list proves my point more than it proves yours. Baylor, Texas Tech, Iowa State and Virginia listed as the "big boys of BCS conferences"?
Those games will certainly help your credibility.

For the record. I admire the rise of and consistency in the TCU football program over the last decade or so. It's admirable. However, to get to the next level they need to play bigger games in the regular season. Until then, there are strong arguments for 1 loss teams that play in more demanding conferences to get bids over them.

For once fans of the SEC and Big X are in full agreement

You know who should be roid raging furious?
Stanford
They are one of the best teams in the country and their only loss might be to the best team in the country... they are having their best year maybe ever
... and they probably don't even make the BCS Bowls/Rose Bowl when Oregon and Auburn make the NC and the Rose ends up taking Boise or TCU

The call should be recorded and the posted when tOSU cowardly refuses.
Hardly, have you seen who Ohio State schedules the past several years and the next several years to come. I would love to see Boise State play against Ohio State, and I am sure so would everyone else.
Last year we played New Mexico State and I ran into several of their fans at the game. I asked them how we would do against Boise State since they were in the same conference. They said having played us and them that it would not be close, not because of talent or coaching, but because of depth, and size.

They are the only ones willing to schedule us up to that point. We beat them all.
Of course these are the same "week in week out" opponents that BCS conference leaders complain about playing.

No one you listed, even when combined, in the past two years would even come close to what Arkansas has faced each of the last two, seperately.
Last year - Auburn, USCe, @ bama, @ florida, georgia, tamu, @ lsu, @ ole miss
this year - @ auburn, @ georgia, @ USCe, bama, lsu, tamu, @ miss st
I don't give a shite how bad you beat up on Baylor. Play those games week in and week out and THEN you can complain about getting left out.
Otherwise? Well frick it. Arkansas should go independent. We can play directional schools every year for most of our games and throw in one mediocre team from a BCS conference. NATIONAL CHAMPS! We deserve it! We went undefeated!

I have no problems stating that the majority of the BCS conferences are stronger than the MWC, especially the SEC. Furthermore, I applaud the addition of tamu to ark schedule.
The problem is the ascertation that any conference can play 7 OOC SEC opponents during a season. The only possible way for this to happen is for every team to join the SEC or go independent. There is no room in this argument for a team in a FBS conference other than one of the BCS conferences to have that many BCS opponents PERIOD.
What would be refreshing is for all of the teams with a loss beating their chests and claiming that undefeated TCU and BSU would certainly have the same or worse fate in thier powerhouse conference to cash that check on the field. The most tht TCU can do is 4 OOC BCS opponents and I would love to see that. I would love to see them play a SEC, a Big 12, a Pac 10, and a Big 10 school every year. Unfortunately, those teams have not wanted to schedule (and many in this thread have alluded to why) teams like TCU and BSU.

Boise and TCU have figured out they can game the system instead of playing as tough of a schedule as they could
Line up 2-3 decent opponents a year and try to run the table against your awful competitors... then yell and scream you did all you could and deserve a big BCS bowl when other schools would make more money for the for profit bowl in question

FWIW 7 of TCU's awful oppontents have a .500 record or better only 6 of tOSU do.
