this makes ZERO sense to me. if you think there is a threat that requires cancellation, then stop the game and cancel it.
we've already decided that logistics don't matter. all the teams in all of these tournaments are already in town. if you're gonna cancel it after this current game because you think the threat is serious enough, then it's irresponsible and hypocritical to allow this game to proceed.

Select a 64 team field. Quarantine players as much as reasonably possible and test them all. Start the tourney after all the tests come back negative. Keep teams quarantined for as long as they're still in the tourney. Condense the length of the tourney by using fewer days between 2nd round and Sweet 16 and between Elite 8 and Final Four.
