I guess tomorrow will be the first test to see who will replace and if Michael shows up. I don't think they usually do Monday shows during football season.

This x10

Can't call for a boycott of an NFL team and by extension the NFL if you work for a corporation whose sole business is covering (American) sports. It takes an extreme lack of tact and discretion to do that.

Does anyone care honestly? Does anyone watch anything on ESPN other than actual games?

But they won't because the CEO of espn is white and said he doesn't understand what it's like to be oppressed.

smith has always been fricking awful, I really do not get his rise in that company. Hill I somewhat get...she's "controversial" because people hate her

Michael Smith is fricking melba toast...he offers nothing. I don't give a shite about anything he says

shite, just look at what happened with Bill Simmons. He may still be at ESPN had he not started ripping Goodell and the NFL over Deflate-gate. That they were about to start drastically reducing costs when he was on the attack made it easy for him to be one of the first expensive names to go.

Smith wasn't all that bad on ATH back in the day. Maybe he was to people who knew different sports that weren't his strengths though.

i just don't remember being annoyed by the guy that much.

but I'd imagine if he is a co-host with Hill now that even if his takes were people pleasing, his opinions would be overrun by the contempt most people have for Hill?

I'm a real fricking jerk though.

i got burned out on SportsCenter while it was still good. I watched it too much so ignore me.

I am very much enjoying this dysfunction in the NFL and ESPN. I hope more shite happens, be it other SJW espn anchors mouthing off, whatever. Whatever it takes. The more turmoil and ratings fall, the better. Liberals fighting liberals.

yeah but ESPN is a major carrier for college sports too. People who follow this line of thinking will still contribute to them making money whether they want to or not.

the NFL?? well I agree somewhat there. It's not as enjoyable as it use to be but its still football. I feel the same way about CFB.

politics are involved in CFB too but why waste my time trying to explain that here?

Hell, the Penn State scandal set my view of college sports back also.

it was bad enough major colleges cheated in recruiting/paying players but then a long respected program covered up for a pedophile? Get the hell out of here!!!!!!!

They need to cancel SC6. It is a hate show with two trashy bigots as host. Cancel that garbage.
