Hill may be looking at the Lakers because this upcoming season will be his 10th which would make him eligible for a much bigger contract next summer compared to this summer.

I think he's looking at them because he doesn't have any other suitors that will pay him what he wants. He turned down a 4 year 80 mil extension (I believe those are the numbers) with Utah this past year. That was definitely a mistake.
