I don't disagree it was a weaker division. But it's not near weak enough to change NFL rules over a potential 9-7 or 10-6 division winner.

Texans are bi polar. From coaching staff all the way down. Sometimes it click sometimes it doesn't. I expect us to get bounced early. Possibly to one of the teams you listed. But you're over reacting IMO.

The Texans could win their 10th game next week. And if things fall their way with Pitt losing to Baltimore they could even be the 3 seed.

That's right. They were 6-8-1 and played a 6-9 Atlanta team for the division the last week of the season

This Texans team is worse. Seattle wouldn't have been 7-9 if they got to play in the AFC South.

How soon you forget how awful that division was in that time. Every team was god awful

Oops, forgot the 8-7 Titans. My point remains. Y'all benefitted from a weak division.

What about the Ravens and Steelers? Have you checked out their division? Or the cumulative win totals for each division?

Holy balls what a millenial thing to say.

Make a division winner go on the road in Round 1 of the playoffs?!?!? Wow.

Here's why you're wrong. If Oakland wins the AFCW, they will have won it by going through a season that featured two games vs Kansas City. They've earned the right to have Kansas City go on the road if they want a third shot at Oakland. If you're Kansas City, you had all season to prove yourself better than Oakland, and you've failed. No reason the NFL should make anything easy for you at this point. If you want your third shot at Oakland, pack your bags.

This isn't so much about what Houston deserves as it is about what Oakland has earned.
