they seem like trash human beings top to bottom and a true danger to society and I’m happy they are going to be locked up

I think one part of admitting Miller has some culpability here is that we can learn lessons when we realize we have done things that aren’t virtuous. A great lesson here is to associate with better people. This guy has a lot going for him, if he associates with this caliber of person when he has a lot more to lose, it’s gonna cost him eventually.

I was planning on picking my friend up from a bar after dropping this friend off earlier in the evening, my friend left their gun in my car as they left for the bar and I’m aware of this.
I think it’s way out of hand to assume he knew the gun was left there originally.

I was returning to pick up this friend later when a text came through (that I had enough time to at least glance at and absorb the message of) that indicated the firearm was being requested by the friend because some third party was acting in a disagreeable fashion (I have been guessing fakin = acting tough, but I have no clue let’s be real).
He had enough time to see and comprehend it. But that’s irrelevant imo. Did he….is the first question. And even if he did, I don’t think he is liable for the murder of this woman.

I am not at all trying to pull the disingenuous “racist” shite that Alabama fans are doing. You’re 157 seconds from picking up a friend after your dinner and you get this text. You’re in route. You’re in heavy traffic and tiny streets. You’re pulling up and confused af about what your supposed friend has texted you. He says someone is going bonkers and he doesn’t feel safe. are you peeling out?

Would a white parson be shite on this hard for showing back up with a gun in their back seat?

If he didn’t know it was there, the defense attorney would have explicitly stated that in his statement and/or his teammate would have clarified where the weapon was in his text to Miller.

I’ve said before I’m fine if the DA doesn’t charge him, but Alabama’s handling has been very poor. Oats in particular. They’ve made the wrong move at every turn, and Miller not recognizing he should change this moment before today’s game shows a lack of recognition of the national perception and lack of respect for the victim.

I’m trying so hard to be genuine in my opinion of you, as opposed to some of the other fans on here.

So this…if you believe this, fine. Can you not understand why a high percentage of non Bama fans DO think he knew? My guess is that a random “jury” of 10 would reveal 6-8 people that think he knew. So again, can you see how others would have a different perspective?

This is so far removed from the discussion. This isn’t about white and black. It’s a hot topic on here because this is where SEC fans congregate. There’s no reason to use a whataboutism here.

Precisely. But on the SECr, you’re a meanie if you think this. You’re jealous of Bama (even if you are a KU fan).

the SEC Rant ought to be nuked from orbit except that it gives the imbeciles and sociopaths on this board a place to congregate. The fact that the people there are likely 30-50 years old and act the way they do is just a pitiful commentary on college fandom. If you want to discuss if members of a team contributed to community violence you must just be a jealous opposing fan melting down. And I’m sure some of the people throwing shade at Miller are doing it just because of the ramifications it has for Alabama basketball, which is equally as pitiful.

It’s honestly enough to make me reevaluate my priorities and make sure I never get an unhealthy emotional attachment to my alma mater’s athletics.

I’m guilty of trolling and spewing garbage in there. Outside of that, you can’t have any discussions without trolling, unless it involves Vandy or Mizzou.

I legit feel bad for some of the more infamous posters on there. The post count per day is shocking.

Honest question, and not a Browns fan (not that it matters). The cops testified he gave the killer the gun, right? Again, why isn't he under arrest?
As I understand it, the gun belonged to the killer, so it seems it's viewed as he was essentially returning it to the owner.

I'm surprised you got so many downvotes on this...but if someone will look at this rationally, you are actually right. Having poor judgment and the inability to have common sense to help diffuse the situation by not taking an angry friend a gun aren't punishable by law, unfortunately
