What 5a schools can challenge Zachary this year?

Catholic has beat them two years in a row

Luckily for the broncos they get to avoid them in the new 5a playoffs

Hey, Zachary never once tried to avoid anyone. Look how they voted on the split.

Throwing shade where it does not belong. Who knows how things end up in playoffs had they played. Could have been a different outcome.

WM will always be a contender but can Arledge win the big game? With his age his time is running out.

Yep. I can only imagine that he wants to win a state championship bad

Coach Arledge is a good man and loves the players. He has had tremendous success with Don Shows but you just know he wants a championship as head coach.

I think he gets it this year.

I don't see how Notre Dame is ranked ahead of STM.

STM freshmen and JV beat ND last year and it seems like those are your up and coming varsity players. Plus STM has a returning QB that put up 400 yds on U High in the Dome.

I can't tell you why, it would be pure speculation.

To say they are avoiding anything is silly though. They play a team out of Florida in Deerfield, FL who is loaded in Shreveport. Deerfield will likely beat them and the team from Mississippi is tough also.

As I said I do not know why they chose not to play the home and home. You would have to ask coach Brewerton, but they have shown consistently not to back from competition..

not home and home... JC was willing to come to BR each game like they did with PBS for 4 years...

It is a worthy question, but their actions over the years clearly shows they aren't afraid of competition with scheduling and also voting against a split championship. It isn't in Brewertons repertoire. He is an old Catholic boy I believe also.

Maybe ask Curtis. Probably had to choose between Curtis and Deerfield or Brandon. Maybe Brandon offered a better money game. I don't know. But I think you are reaching insinuating they backed out out of fear.

Although I do not believe they could beat Curtis this year at all. I don't even believe Zachary will win state this year.

Acadiana, Destrehan, and West Monroe have better teams on the offensive and defensive lines with more experience.

I understand that.

What I an saying is maybe he was told why they couldn't make it happen.

You are taking this and extrapolating it into, "Zachary scared". When, in reality nothing they have done over the years even remotely can be taken as such. There is nothing of their actions that would insinuate that except this one instance.

If I could choose between a game between a team that will fill the coffers and one that doesn't when both are solid teams I'm choosing the money or it 10/10 times.

You are reaching like a mofo.

I haven't said anything to the effect, I simply asked a question...... I'm not the one reaching and trying to extrapolate... I know the facts on why the WM / JC game did not work out... though........ right now I think JC is sitting with 2 open dates still too...

Mr./Ms. Reubaltaich:
Re: Cayden Pierce, WM 2020 FB/H-Back

Please clear the air with your doubting/out of left field comment.

CP will be back with the Rebels...or I’m wasting lots of money on his football camps this summer.
Thank you for correcting that for me.
