If you had made this list 10 years ago, virtually none of these players would be on the list.

I'd consider Aldridge, though I'm not sure how serious his heart condition will be down the line.

All-time greats generally stumble into at least 1 title before being annointed

I am not impressed with the guys currently in college, and I think this year's recruiting class will be the worst since the 2005 Josh McRoberts/Gerald Green group. I am not even going to try to rate anyone who is a sophomore in high school or younger because I am not Clark Francis, and Clark Francis is a morbidly obese charlatan.

But if I had to add some wild cards, I would go with Anthony Davis, Shabazz Muhammad, and maybe Julius Randle.

Should stayed there IMO.

I think I prefer 5+ years of first all-NBA performance over projecting some guys to really improve.

Same. Just curious.

I would not want to attempt this list at all. I would go Durant, Lebron, Rose, Westbrook (interchangeable with Rose), and Howard. After that, no clue.

I think that Westbrook is too high. I don't know if I would have Gordon, Monroe, or Jrue in my top 15, and I definitely wouldn't have Paul George there. Kanter hasn't shown a ton yet, but he's an interesting developmental choice, and I can totally see Cousins becoming the fat version of Shawn Kemp since he is a headcase and has had weight problems before.

I would probably go: Durant, Rose, LeBron, Griffin, Howard as my top 5. After that, it's tough, but probably Irving, Muhammad (way too early, I realize), Westbrook, and Love. Not sure after that.

paul george has every indication he's going to be a super duper star. he just needs PT

holiday is just restrained by his roster/role

Nobody has mentioned James Harden? I don't know if he'll be on the Thunder when he does it, but I think he'll be a top 15 player.

If I'm not mistaken, every player on your list was in high school 10 years ago, and you probably never heard of half of those players even 5 years ago. A few, you probably never heard of 2 years ago.
