because roy hibbert can't seem to last a whole season with any sort of consistency, and he's hit his physical ceiling.

bynum is a big man and much more valuable than curry or gordon.
Back in the preseason, you thought Bynum was not worth his contract because of his injuries, right?
Crazy how shite changes so fast. He is so valuable. Imagine how fricking good the Lakers would be with Kobe, Bynum, and Paul. Ok, the rest of the team would suck dick, but they would have two top 7 players (top 7 at worst). Then, Bynum is a top 20 or better with a HUGE impact on every game.

amazing what a healthy year will do

Jimmer is a worse JJ Redick. Why would he be on any list like this?

no, it's parts of the basis of my opinion. criteria would mean for the discussion those rules would apply to everyone's opinion (and they don't)
By being the thread starter, you essentially state the grounds of what any other poster should look for in this thread...i.e. Wade not being on this list, Curry not being on the OP list. You essentially took two players off the board to responders claiming injury history while completely ignoring that standard that you initially set. Criteria is set at the beginning of every thread, but being who you are, you change the argument as you go along.
Your picks of Eric Gordon and Andrew Bynum ignore the same standard you set for Steph Curry. By claiming that Bynums relatively healthy season makes a world of difference in ranking, while also leaving out the fact that Gordon is (likely) out for the year completely, your rankings contradict your own short-sighted reasoning.

I'm a fan of Tebow so I tend to root for the underdog. However, if Beaubois gave 2 shits he'd be the best pg in the league. Offensively and defensively.
Beaubois? Are you fricking me?

wade is old. that's a bigger deal than his injury history

in the immortal words of larry david, "i took a risk"

i think gordon is a much better player with more potential, so with the same risks he's going to be ranked higher
bynum falls in the same boat. if he had no injury history he'd be #2 or 3

i think a lot of that has to do with the hornets tanking. i think he could have played more, but that would hurt the hornets

By acknowledging the "risk" you took you acknowledging your reasoning behind your lists is irrational, making the entire OP worthless.

You need to watch more basketball if this is your reasoning. Gordon is more complete, but Curry's elite skill reaches beyond his athelticsim, where Gordon relies more on his. Curry will be a more effective player further down his career than Gordon.

If you were a long time fan of the NBA, you would realize that when an injury is hidden, like it is now with Gordon, it is more serious than you can imagine. David West had the same mysterious knee injury in his second year(he actually had reconstructive surgery) and when he came back his game was different. To believe in Gordon being a top 10 player for the next 10 years, with his injury history, is asinine.

Rajon Rondo? Tyreke Evans? Monta Ellis?

i don't think steph curry is a guy worthy of that kind of risk. it's not a foreign concept

he has no position and plays no defense

because greg oden has produced at elite levels in the NBA?

it wasn't really that different
