Just did what I thought would be a good public perception of the assholes. frick, should have put in Bonds.

I like a lot of those guys. CR7 is one of my favorite athletes ever (definitely top athlete that does not play in the US), Big Phil Rivers is awesome, Barry is the best athlete, in terms of success in their sport, I have ever seen, etc.

I talked to someone that used to work for the chargers and he said that rivers is the nicest, most down to earth guy

Huge fan of Rivers. Heard he is a great dude. However, the majority of people do not know that.

Sophandros, Barton is not an a-hole; he is a sociopath and badass.

Okay, this is based on guys (coaches included) I have interviewed in either group or individual setting since my first NCAA/pro sports assignments in 2001:

A-Holes
1. Tony Stewart (NASCAR)
2. Kevin Harvick (NASCAR)
Note: At times, two biggest douches I've ever had to deal with.
----
T3. Alex Rodriguez (Granted was after a loss and poor game)
Barry Bonds (in final season)
4. Tony Romo (after he became starter)
5. Terrell Owens (three times, always a DB)
6. Ben Roethlisberger (twice, before GA incident, have heard positive things since)
7. Michael Jordan (once, used to be a hero when I was younger, opinion quickly changed)
8. Phillip Rivers (just miserable person the one time I was in interview setting with)
9. Urban Meyer
10. Justin Morneau

Nicest
1. Jason Witten (awesome guy)
T2. Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR, gets bad rap), John Force (NHRA, only interview that you can't print 80% of what he says but well worth it)
3. Peyton Manning (never a disappointment)
4. Joe Mauer (same as Peyton)
5. Roger Clemens (had awesome one on one with him in '03, would imagine changed)
6. Jerry Rice / Deion Sanders (got both in latter years as pros, were great)
7. Lane Kiffin
8. Cam Newton
9. Steve McNair / Jevon Kearse (during Titans' peak years were awesome to deal with)
10. Rory McIlroy

Have had good and bad experiences with some other guys that cancel each other out. Most though are professionals that are neither a-holes or overly nice, just do their duties and leave.

Uh, he is a miserable prick no matter what. His own teammates despise him. And I'm not surprised about Jordan. Don't let the PR machine fool you, hes a POS
