Anyone else tired of him yet?

he's annoying, but i don't hate the guy. Just comes off to strong, we get it. Jesus, God, Christianity

He always comes off as a douchebag. Holier than though a-hole. So Rex Ryan curses, please explain how the hell that is anything even close to being Tony Dungy's business.

Certainly comes off as having a holier than thou attitude.

frick Tony Dungy. I'm so sick of this overrated, know-nothing nitwit being deferred to by everyone as if he's some great soothsayer of wisdom on life and football.
Why the frick does the media hate every conservative on the face of the earth EXCEPT Tony Dungy?
Hey, Bob Costas - TONY HATES GAYS! SO STOP KISSING HIS arse!

I don't know. I always thought it was funny that his calling card was defense, and the Colts always had shitty defenses.

It's a great shame that he won that Super Bowl. It really is. Because now he's considered a football coaching "legend" and he far from deserves that label. He deserves it about as much as Brian Billick deserves it.

The NFL made sure he got that Superbowl, the Peyton/Dungy dream team was just too much for the NFL to not have winning a championship. That Pats/Colts game was the worst officiated game I have ever seen in any major sport.

Kinda weird he won a Superbowl too. Couldn't get over the hump in Tampa, so he got fired. Goes to Indy where he teams up with Peyton, who can't get over the hump. They somehow get over the hump and win, and then choke in their first playoff game the next two years. Almost wonder if Manning/Dungy winning it all was a fluke.

If Rex Grossman had been the starting QB for a team that won the Superbowl, I may have killed someone. I can't believe the Bears beat the Saints, mainly because their QB was Grossman.

I love this thread (and am surprised by it) BTW. Whenever I made a crack about Father of the Decade Tony Dungy on here in the past all the slack-jawed pea-brained born agains would come out of the woodwork to voice their displeasure with me.
It's like the born agains on the MSB have "Tony Dungy, Tigerdroppings" searched every 30 minutes just so they can rush to defend his honor.

Dungy is a brilliant defensive strategist but I always thought he was one of the most overrated head coaches in the NFL. The Colts were perennial playoff chokers except '06 and they were very lucky not to have faced San Diego that year. How is it possible to only coach in one Super Bowl with Peyton Manning as your QB for almost a decade? Jim freaking Caldwell matched that total in one year!

I've never really had a problem with the MSB. Sometimes they'll miss obvious sarcasm, but meh.

I loved how he was the great saver of lost souls
It was comical how someone got in trouble and boom there dungy to save the day

Does everybody know that his son who committed suicide was gay? I don't think many people realize that. That's pretty damning when your old man is hanging out with James Dobson and condemning homosexuals for their behavior and then your son kills himself. And yet Dungy still goes around preaching his right wing anti-gay stuff and still acts holier than though about such trivial things as Rex Ryan cursing?

I'm not sure about that. San Diego usually chokes in the playoffs and Marty has never done well in the playoffs. Would have been cool to see what two perennial chokers would have done with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line
