Looks to me like the catcher sat up outside the zone and framed the pitch on the edge.....taking it out of the middle.
I'm not giving the ump a free pass. Just saying that wuth the mitt moving all over the place, it's causing umps to miss calls.
I understand framing, but hate it at the same time.

They need to put an infrared laser system on top of the foul ball poles to check for home runs that were actually fouls

The only group that participates in games that has to answer to no one are refs, umps, and officials. Of course they are gambling and rigging games. I don't blame them. They are unaccountable and protected from scrutiny.
The NFL is still the worst when it comes to openly rigging games, with SEC football running a close second. We already know the NBA is rigged, and MLB is becoming more obvious by the day.
