I mean, yeah man? I would still be pissed as frick even if I had all the money in the world. You wouldn’t be mad if you just got Tom Brady’s last TD ball, and a week later he announces he’s out of retirement? I’d be screaming. You also have no idea who this guy is or what he would do.

I'm guessing it will depend upon how the ball was advertised. The exact wording may be crucial.

Damn -- whoever posted this must be a f*cking genius!!!

What a gut punch for the seller.

That's some serious loopholing.

There's no way the buyer was hoodwinked by the description of it being the last TD ball, that was the general worldwide consensus. There's no evidence that the seller had some inside info otherwise.

Think about the guy who was outbid at the last minute. He essentially "won" $500k

So if he paid immediately. And Brady waited a month later to come back. Would the sale still have have went through without any recourse?

The football was just auctioned again for much less.

quote:

On Saturday, ahead of the Week 2 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints, that same football sold with a caveat from Lelands in the description:

"The perspective has changed, but this remains a magnificent piece nonetheless."

It may no longer be the football from Brady's final regular-season touchdown pass, but it's still an expensive one. The final sale price was $129,657.

It’s only story now “was the final touchdown” ball. And someone paid $130k for that

Hey. Y’all remember that ball that was Brady’s final touchdown? But then he unretired? Well here it is. I bought it!

If the Bucs had gotten off to a terrible start, he could have hedged by betting on then to make the playoffs.
If they do he gets momey, if they somehow don't he's got Brady's "Last playoff TD ball"

Odds on that prop suck now, so that would be dumb.

Here we have a another unique dispute of rare Brady memorabilia. I presume the owner will lose in court since he assumed all the risk loaning it out?

Rare Brady Signed Flag Could Be Devalued As much as $1M

quote:

Football teams are not museums. That's something Daniel Vitale learned the hard way after he loaned the New England Patriots Hall of Fame a rare American flag autographed by Tom Brady.

Vitale is suing the Patriots for allegedly ruining the autographed flag by displaying it using improper techniques, which faded the autograph and possibly reduced the value of the flag by up to $1 million.
