similar defenses... if peyton had NE's defense he probably would have had 1 more super bowl. Peyton is the GOAT and Brady hasnt won one since he has lost the dominant defense.....Brady is still top 4 though in history..no knock on him.

Thats the one big difference in the two QB's career. Bruschi, Harrison, Seymour, Law, and company.

brady won all of those super bowls with a top defense in the NFL....he hasnt won one since they left. his playoff failures would look like mannings if the defense didnt carry him.

If Brees had a defense with half a pulse he might have 1 more ring himself. We got beat by fricking Alex Smith...

If Les had Saban as his DC then LSU would have won the last 8 NCs in a row

Brady may have had better defenses but Manning had far more offensive talent around him.

Let me settle this debate: Joe Montana is the GOAT.

So is having Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, & Marvin Harrison on the offensive side of the ball.

For his rookie year, so he really doesn't count.

The biggest difference IMO: Bellichick > Mora, Dungy, Caldwell, Fox
