Reminded me of the big chief back in 2015.

Can we start banning anyone that brings politics onto this board unless it's in direct relation to something in sports (ala, players kneeling, etc.)

He looked drunk as shite and looks like he’s been drunk for awhile... Bags under his eyes, bloated, got that red alcoholic hue.
He needs some help.
He needs some help.

Listening to scientists and doctors is so small brain.

In our clinics and in case reports worldwide, patients report fatigue, inattention, poor concentration, difficulty working long hours, difficulty getting out of bed, a “brain fog.” This is similar to what small studies reported in survivors from the first SARS virus. Some also have more specific thinking and behavior problems—they forget the names of people they know well, they can’t follow along during business conversations, prioritizing and planning is suddenly difficult, they are inexplicably anxious and sleep poorly.
quote:
Similar to the first SARS virus, patients are experiencing unusual sensory symptoms. Everyone has heard about the loss of smell and taste in COVID-19 and other viruses; we’re also seeing changes in appetite, lightheadedness, body discomfort, and new or worsened headaches that don’t always respond to traditional pain relievers.
These are young and middle-aged people who were previously thriving. Now they are having profound changes in the way they think and feel. They’re worried about their careers, if this persists.
The good news is that most of the patients we’re seeing are getting better.

fricking unreal what people choose to believe or not about this pandemic.
There are respected doctors and public health officials that are laying out what needs to be done to combat this and all you'll scream is "that's BS, it's all a hoax, muh freedom", yet I'd bet a majority of those people are the same ones that collectively decided that hoarding toilet paper was the way to deal with Covid.
Clown.
Shoes.

thread reminds me of the new season of Grey's Anatomy that my gf watched yesterday. Meredith Grey is about to die from Covid
a healthy, in-shape 40-something year old dying from Covid is like a 1 in a billion shot

You are so dumb it hurts. You post studies that represent a microscopic amount of covid cases
And guess what? The neurological effect can be caused by any virus. This isn’t new
I can also post the fact that 99.9% of patients in Mcshays age group experience no severe symptoms of effects, and you would ignore it, yet in the one ignoring the science because you hang onto only what you want to

In a vacuum, yes, but that’s not how the world works.

Or they’re like me who knows many people, including all of my immediately family, who’ve had it, and it hasn’t affected anyone more than a couple of days of the flu.

huh? are we talking about poorly-studied after-effects or prevention in this thread?
there is no real "science" behind all of these possibly correlated post-covid issues. in a few years we will have a better idea. reporting these right now is not only warping what "science" is, it's fear mongering
also, it has nothing to do with prevention

wrong demo. those are the people who think covid is a death sentence b/c they buy into the rushed thinking that leads to such behavior
the primary issues with covid are the same as i stated in march. covid 19 isn't that bad, but it's contagious as a motherfricker. trying to turn covid 19 into nipah or ebola is intentionally dishonest and created a perfectly valid dismissal of it early on, which has affected the response to the contagiousness (the real threat). so the people who fricked the frick up with covid are the fear mongers who clearly lied (and continue to do so) which discredited them. had they been more honest early on, they would be trusted more today.
also, what we've learned from Europe is also what i predicted in march: as soon as you open up, you get uncontrollable spread

that is the whole thing. myocardopathy, losing smell, neurological "fog" are all pretty common with midlevel viruses
