Nike is on the DOW so thanks Nike for making Trump look good.

You’re telling me a boycott from a bunch of guys who wear sperrys or lucchese didn’t affect Nike?
You are vastly overestimating the wealth of the average TVM who is willing carry out his revenge on the NFL.

I didn't go out and buy jackshit, I just laugh at all the low I.Q.'s that get asshurt over a commercial.
True snowflakes.

Smart people boycotted.
Idiots went out and bought more Nike shite to show support.
Smart people did neither.

I'm stunned that Obama hasn't taken credit for it yet.

You should really be thanking kaep

Nope.
If Trump hadn't opened his mouth for no reason and stirred this shite back up, the entire situation would have died.
Trump doing everything he can to put money in our pockets

People are acting surprised like Nike didn't do a ton of market research beforehand.
Brands rarely ever do things because they determine "it's the right thing to do" or they "want to make a statement." It was a calculated move to make money. This was always going to happen.
ETA: This isn't even necessarily because of politics. I was just saying this more as a response to the people who said it was down because of Kaep the other day.

quote:Since when is pointing out blatant hypocrisy being asshurt? It didn't make me angry in the slightest, it's just a stupid line to put with a black guy that got adopted by a rich white family, had his college paid for, made millions for sucking in the NFL, and now makes millions from Nike for just existing. Sacrifice my arse.

He's an unlikable dude simply for the fact that he decided to play the racial inequality card for getting cut rather than look at his own abysmal performance the last year he got to play. Tries to play the victim and acts like no one would offer him even though owners specifically came out and said they gave him offers that he denied because he wanted WAY more than what he was worth as the 32nd rated QB out of 32 the last chance he had as a starter. Now he's suing the league that made him a millionaire. That's not sacrifice. That's an entitled bitch.

People forget Nike is a global brand and the rest of the world follows our political environment more than any other country. The rest of the world is also strongly left leaning.

Lol love how that boycott failed massively.
Love even more how angry it makes you hate filled hypocrites who cry about everything including other people crying about stuff.

What does any of that have to do with the stupid arse boycott and how it failed miserably?

Let me give you a bit of a broader view of the trickle down effect that CK is having. He wants to protest police brutality against minorities by kneeling during the national anthem. There are several other avenues that he could’ve taken to protest this. Now, out here in BFE where I teach at a middle school with almost exactly a 50/50 breakdown racially among students, we have a handful of black students who refuse to stand for the pledge of allegiance in the morning. Their parents told them they don’t have to. 12-13 year old kids being taught hate (and that’s what it is) by CK’s actions.
When’s the next Klan meeting?
