Wisconsin is 34-7 (22-4) under Paul Chryst, has two Top-10 finishes in three seasons, 3-0 in bowl games (two of those wins against Miami and USC), and just signed its highest-rated class, based on average rating, in the 247 era. They're on their way to eclipsing that in 2019.
If Iowa State were in the B1G West, they aren't taking out Wisconsin.

Georgia had added Adam Anderson and Azeez Ojulari, both of whom were commits that "pushed" Caleb Tannor to look elsewhere in the first place. Really, Nebraska beat out Auburn and Florida. Regardless, that was quite the get out of the Southeast.
Scott Frost was an immediate "hot" name that had plenty of recruits looking at Nebraska. We'll see how that momentum carries over the next couple recruiting classes.

This is inaccurate. He was suspended for 6 games and did not start in the NCG. Osborne knew that if he kicked him off the team, he'd be in jail or dead. The only structure he had was the football program. We all see what happened to him once he stopped playing football... Osborne pretty much delayed the inevitable.

Not only Wisconsin but Iowa plays ISU every year and wins most of the time. ISU would be hanging in the Minnesota & Purdue area.

Well, considering where they were prior to his arrival, it’s extremely impressive. That said, I’d be disappointed with anything under a Top 15 class from this point forward.
