Alabama doesn't get nearly as much hate as those teams. They are really only hated by the fanbases of other SEC teams and even then, most of the venom is directed toward the Alabama fans than the program itself.

Criminy I'm a Cavs fan and no fan of Lebron now but why would someone even post the question if the Heat are the most hated team in sports? They have no history to speak of.

I say Yankees.. I feel that most people agree with this because they aren't as "organic" as the rest of the MLB..meaning they just go out and purchase the best instead of cultivate and farm the talent..
