I'm juggling kids and all kinds of stuff and had to rewind but am I missing something or was than an awful review? He was obviously down and touched before the fumble from what I saw and felt like the broadcast barely discussed it

You can't slide as contact is imminent. He ducked to avoid contact but if he was actually sliding he should have done it way earlier. We can agree to disagree

To me the sliding is irrelevant as he was touched on the helmet by a Cardinal just before the fumble but I never saw a good enough replay to say for certain.

He turns and sees his guy and starts giving himself up. It super early in him getting down, though.

NFL Rule on sliding:
