He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football at Kentucky, where in 2010, he was named an All-American by College Football News and was a first team all-SEC selection. Trevathan is currently the most hated player in the NFL. Hits dirty...

I doubt he meant the actually hurt him but it’s pretty easy to not dive at someone already wrapped up like that

The guy was wrapped up, being held up and pushed backward. Then he came in with a helmet right to the dude's jaw. Yes, he was trying to hurt him.

I thought it was pretty cheap, but I mean, I don't think Trevathan meant to hurt him. These are football players, it's hard for them to turn it off sometimes. The whistle hadn't blown even though his forward progress was beginning to stop.

Yep. shite absolutely flies at warp speed out there. He saw a guy wrapped up so he went to make a hard hit. Was it a penalty and fine worthy? Yes. But it isn't like he stopped to think about all the damage he was about to do. It happens in about a second worth of time

a. he literally lowered his helmet to point the crown at a defenseless player

b. he was waving "bye" to aaron rodgers after the play and laughing about it

There are times when I believe this and now is not one of them.

Went straight for the helmet no question about it. Went in for the kill shot - wouldn't have a problem if he was suspended rest of the year or more.

For all the dumbass targeting ejections, that was a hit that actually warranted ejection and yet they didn't.
