I would say the warriors and Cavs are both better when they're on the court
Of course they are, but in the playoffs the Cavs are +13.7 points per 100 possessions when he's on the court, they are -11.9 when he's off the court, 25.6 points worse. That will become a bigger differential once this game is added.

The Warriors are +20.4 with Durant on the court in the playoffs and +10.7 with him off the court, 9.4 points worse. That will get a bit closer when this game is added.

So clearly they make their teams better. Durant just has the benefit of a team who doesn't need him like the Cavs need LeBron.

You literally posted about me before I even entered the thread
LOL

Not to mention, between the 2 of us we've probably "singled" out 20 posters since the start of the day. Other than that, he nailed it!!!!

Well I doubt they had a teammate who immediately took the outlet pass with 45 seconds would just dribble it for 20 seconds without even looking to pass.

Everybody on the Celts, Lakers, and Bulls knew where to go with the ball

Somehow the Cavs don't. Tells you all you need to know about who the GOATs are

Did you really just say Bird was better than Lebron?

Yes. The guy scored 47 points in an NBA game, while shooting only left-handed. But Magic said the same. And he played against both Bird and MJ. So I'll take his word over yours

Magic also thinks Byron Scott is a good basketball coach and thought MCW would be the next Jason Kidd.

Robert Horry said Hakeem was 20x better than Tim Duncan.

Sometimes former NBA players make dumb comments.

Well, I've seen both Bird and Lebron play. Bird does not disappear in the last minute of games. Especially one this important

I've watched Bird have a game-winning 3 negated because his coach called timeout. Then after the time out, went back to the exact same spot, and hit the shot again!!

I think I'm done trolling tonight. I'm really not a LeBron hater. Just thought I'd entertain myself (and others) on a boring Thursday night.

Paul Pierce is shilling hard for an ESPN gig....says "0% chance of a sweep b/c Lebron James"...Truth my arse...at least 40-60% chance easily

To be fair, Lebron scored like the last 29 points one playoff game against him.

In before Shell says Lebron is still more clutch than MJ and Kobe.

If those numbers are true then wow. This does of course show how shitty of a GM he is though.

The Warriors were +5 with Durant on the bench in 7 minutes. They were +0 in Durant's 41 minutes.

LeBron was +7 in 46 minutes and the Cavs were -10 in 2 minutes when he was on the bench.

But of course, Durant is the best player.

G1:

40 minutes for Lebron. -22

38 minutes for Durant. +16

G2:

39 minutes for LeBron. -11

41 minutes for Durant. +21

Dumbest stat in sports, but even if it wasn't, LeBron is still considerably better than Kobe in the "clutch."
