Born in Virginia most famous for what he did in Texas but a Tennessean, got it.

Wearing the Oilers throw backs against the Texans is just petty. If anyone is triggered it’s the evil spawn of Bud Adams because her equally petty daddy took is ball and left Houston but the Texans franchise is worth a lot more.

Why do some of y'all care so much about a team that left almost 30 years ago?

Is it 1995? The franchise is no longer in Houston. Are you the guy in Cast Away?

Because the oilers brand fits Houston. The city economy is centered on the O&G industry. 35 year history. Not surprised that Amy is rubbing it in. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Everyone in Houston hates her so she has nothing to lose

For the record, I don't like her either. The Titans have an empty cabinet thanks to terrible management.

I wonder if people in Montreal care when the Nationals donned Expos throwbacks.

I hope he puts on a clinic and nets the Texans another high draft pick. Davis Mills could be starting on a lot of teams right now.

Does Montreal have a baseball team in the same division as the Nationals? Was the Nationals exit from Montreal extremely contentious?

Maybe you could ask Browns fans how they feel about Art Modell. Seems like it would be a more apples to apples comparison.

I love this move.

Oilers history is Titans history. If Houston don't like it, they should've considered a new stadium instead of running the Oilers out, only to turn around and building a new one for the Texans.

What a mess that Oiler move was. Neither side thought it was going to happen - Houston called Adams bluff. And then the Titans were born.

Fun fact: first Saints owner John Mecom at one point was in talks to buy Oilers from Adams. It didn’t happen so he started the Saints

no other word for it. purely a petty, unnecessary move. i'm a cowboys fan who has mildly reveled in Houston's misery a bit, but I thought Adam's departure was completely classless.

I gonna guess that you were born after 1995.

Most people root for local teams because they feel a connection to it. When a team moves from a city the people who grew up with that team still feel a connection to the old team. The Baltimore Colts marching band continued to exist for 15 years after the team left, they played at other NFL games. Lots of people that grew up in Brooklyn in the 40s and 50s missed the Dodgers, it’s pretty common. They should have left the history and names with the old cities. No one in Nashville cares about Earl Campbell and Bum Phillips. They even changed the name obviously, to Titans, so keeping the colors and history is just petty to spite Houston. Bud Adams got screwed over by the mayor and some others, I don’t blame him for moving but stuff like this makes you realize why he was hated and got screwed over.
