Cue Twitter outrage that Becky Hammon isn’t the acting head coach.

His new hair makes him look like Jim Duncan, Tim's cool partyboy twin brother.

man if I were Tim Duncan I’d be high as frick on vacation 24/7. Why on earth would you want to sit on an nba bench in a fricking suit for 82 games in the winter?

That is what Timmy did for the last three years. He wanted to get back to work get back around the game.

I mean, Tim Duncan has played under Popovich since 1999 and he’s also on the coaching staff...

Hammon has been a Spurs assistant since 2014 and has experience being the head coach of the Spurs summer league team.

Duncan has been an assistant coach for 6 months.

I'm just saying, asking why Hammon wasn't the temporary head coach last night is a fair question to ask.

She has been with the Spurs for 6 years.

Duncan has been with the Spurs for over 20 years.

Do you really think coaching some summer league games compares?

She is also a Hall of Fame BB player in her own right.

I'm pulling for her. The lady has put her time in, kept a rather low profile, and works on a staff that is highly respected throughout the league.

Her day will come. I predict it will either be the Spurs or a West coast team
