It's a 2 year rolling ranking. He's done enough since this time in 2008 to keep that ranking. His window is closing fast though and has to start playing well to keep it.

Everytime in the past when someone has challenged Tiger or said anything of the like, Tiger has put a "royal" beatdown on them.

The Ryder Cup is probably my single most favorite sporting event, and things like this are the reason for it. It's awesome when golf turns into a grudge match instead of a gentleman's game for a week. Every time, there's someone talking trash.
McIlroy is young, and he's got a bright future ahead of him, but you don't call out Tiger like this. It is kinda bush too to call him out when he's playing the worst he's played in his career. The Tiger-McIlroy singles match will happen; I just hope the Cup is on the line on Sunday afternoon when this goes down.
