Jack never had a tiger like winning percentage. Up to this point in their careers the numbers favor tiger heavily.

But could Jack lie like Tiger? I think not.

The winning % itself is pretty astounding, winning 1 out of every 4 starts, 300 starts into his career.
Obviously that number will come down, but I don't think he'll linger after he falls off, whenever that may be. He seems like a guy that won't want to compete if he can't beat anyone. At some point he'll probably just play majors and that's it.

Numbers don't lie. Tiger has had much better numbers at this point in his career than jack. This is with three swing changes, multiple injuries, the scandal and doing it in today's game where the fields are much deeper than before.
Only the true tiger haters don't see this.

Im not so sure. Just in my head I figure jack had about a 22% winnning percentage in majors until the age of 40. Tiger has about the same % in majors

Takes away from his GOAT argument IMO

Take a look at the all time wins list. It was easier to win tourneys back then. It's not debatable.

all that cheating and lying to his wife had to be mentally and physically taxing

The equipment back then is not even close...
Find me a period in Jack's prime when a dozen different folks won consecutive majors...Tiger ain't beating shite today. Trevino, Player, Palmer, Casper...All had 42.7% greater mental capabilities than the entire tour today...

I just look at majors ... Until tiger gets 19, he has not had the best all time career. Imho

And yet you probably think hogan and jones are better than Hagen.
Posted on 5/14/13 at 8:23 am to LCA131
You realize only 14 people have ever won back to back majors.
1 did it in Jack's Prime, 2 in Tiger's.

I'm just gonna assume that's a fact. I won't question that statement's validity.
