Jack in his prime vs. Tiger with the hookers?
Who ya got?

He was right about marshals not talking to players, he knew that was a lie.

VegasPro must be having a tough time staying out of all of this

Tiger got in Sergio's head by any means necessary. The marshalls were just pawns in his intricate chess game.

Tiger will never surpass Jack in some peoples eyes, even if he catches him in majors (slim chance), the nostalgia thing takes over.
These are the things I think you should look at when deciding:
Major wins
Overall wins
Runner-up's
Winning percentage
Talent of playing competitors
Here's why I think Jack takes the cake (now):
Nicklaus has more major wins than Tiger
Tiger overtakes him in overall wins
Jack DOMINATES the runner up category
Tiger kills him in winning percentage (26%-16%) with half the events
Finally, the talent of playing competitors. In relative terms, Jack IMO played against much harder competitors. Those that he was beat by had multiple major championships, multiple wins, and many are immortalized as some of the greatest players to play the sport. Look at his runner up finishes and see who he was beaten by.
Jack, as of now, IMO takes the edge.

well played post from there

Winning 27% of your tournaments today is like winning 40% in jack's prime. Tiger is the GOAT and it isn't close.

Tiger has a lot fewer runner ups because he won so damn much

83.7% of stats are made up on the spot...

That one came off the golf channel last night!

And for comparison, hall of famer Fred couples had a 2% winning percentage.

winning % is a little misleading right now. Lets wait until tiger is done and all those events tiger plays when he is out of his prime before we really compare winning %.

I agree with this, and all of what you said.
I was just speaking in terms of IF he does catch him in majors, and that is a big if, there will be some people that hold on to Jack for nostalgia purposes.
Not that they are wrong for doing it, it happens in every sport.
