All of those that keep saying things like, "Tiger doesn't know that the crowd is going to cheer when he pulls out a club," have never been to a golf tournament and they don't actually watch the golf on tv. When Tiger Woods pulls out a fairway metal for his second shot on a par 5, the crowd is going to get excited that he's trying to reach the green. Heck, I've been standing near the driving range and heard the crowd watching cheer when Bubba Watson pulled out his pink driver...on the driving range!!!
I never claimed Tiger did this on purpose. I'm just pointing out why Sergio was upset. In his mind, he thought Tiger wasn't paying attention and was getting ready to hit while Sergio was over his ball.

tiger pulls club. crowd cheers. tiger hushes crowd and tells them that sergio maybe hitting. marshal tells tiger - no sergio already hit. tiger thinks ok the crowd noise must not have bothered him.

Ok, you obviously didn't watch the tournament. Tiger hushed the crowd after he heard sergio hit his shot. Tiger pulled the club before the marshal told him Sergio hit. It's bad sportsmanship, tiger should have apologized.
