So what you're saying is that as long as I'm smarter than you, am somewhat successful in life, and that I perceive you to be an a-hole I can freely tell you that I'm smarter and better at life than you without you feeling insulted or considering me a dick?
There was 0 ounce of humility in that action and since you didn't find ANYTHING wrong with that interview, you're going to teach your kid that as long as you're smarter and better than your classmates, you can rub it in their face?
That whole first take bit was showcasing how highly he thinks of himself and how big of an a-hole he is. The crabtree one wasn't even that big of a deal - they have their issues and he insulted crabtree's 'playing ability' by saying he's a sorry receiver. The difference between that and skip's interview was that he had full intention on blasting skip and telling him "i'm better at life than you" - yeah, that's not a-hole-ish at all.

Admittedly I don't follow Skip at all (for reasons stated above) so I don't know what he said before the interview. Given his history I'm not going to rule out the possibility that he was antagonistic.
He made a comment earlier that he thinks revis is still the best cb in the league and sherman isn't in the same stratosphere yet.
Shermen went on a 5 minute rant of how I'm better at life than you because skip had an opinion of you that doesn't fit your criteria surely isn't a villain at all

Had Skip been allowed to continue the interview unencumbered, I have little doubt we would have seen his shtick come out sooner or later, which is why I really don't feel bad for him at all in this instance
Agreed, but everyone knows this. No doubt Sherman does too. Why do the interview?

Well that's a million dollar question, one that I can't answer. Not sure why anyone goes on there.
"I really enjoyed chatting with Skip and Stephen A on First take. It was such a great interview."
-Said nobody ever

Wow, Sherman did something I didn't think possible. Give people a reason to give Skip Battles the benefit of the doubt lol

I literally LOL'd. Sounds like a line from a SNL skit

Skip bayless character on that show is as real as wwe. What kind of gullible rube are you that you don't think skip loved that. His character on their is a troll. What's next are you going to be mad at randy Orton for telling cena that he is better than him?

Christ that's all he said?
Yeah, it's ridiculous to say that Sherman and Revis aren't in the same stratosphere but saying Revis is better is perfectly OK.
All he had to do was call Skip out rationally and calmly and get him to explain how Revis is better. Sherman wins.
Instead, he showed his arse. Again.

yes, he's paid to be the biggest troll on espn. everyone knows that.
The question you seemed to have skipped over is that you approve of sherman's remark telling someone, doesn't matter who at this point, on live tv that he's "better at life" than someone else.
Or was it a whole sketched out skit and that sherman didn't mean it at all and he respects skip oh so very much.

I believe Sherman going up to Crabtree was him trying to express sportsmanship in a dick move kind of way. I know in high school as a d-lineman i talked shite the whole game. Me and the o-line would go at it the whole day. If we won I would be sure to shake the man's hand and tell him hell of a great game. If I lost all I wanted to do was say frick you and punch him in the face. So I perfectly understand Crabtree's reaction
I dont doubt that Sherman is an A-whole. But truth be told, I'm an awhole. 90% of this board is filled with awholes. I would argue that everyone on this planet is considered an awhole by somebody else's standards
Wtf is the definition of a thug. I always thought thugs were those shitface human beings who desire nothing in life except to stay on the streets, do drugs, and commit crimes all day. Richard Sherman doesn't fit this mold to me at all. He's just a loudmouthed annoying individual who gets on your nerves, not exactly a thug IMO.
Lastly, the whole First Take ordeal. Do people realize that show is mostly a joke. Its meant for pure entertainment. I wouldnt be surprised if Sherman and Skip preplanned that and a had a big laugh about it afterwards. Im 99% sure that conversation did not hurt Skip's feelings at all, so why are everyone acting so hurt for Skip.

I se nothing wrong with his play on the field except for the choking gesture.
I do have a problem with his interview but I do realize it was in the moment.
My concern is when did the word thug start referencing the N word in our society.
Is their a secret word association dictionary for white people?

She was yelling rape the whole time.

I'll admit that I was pretty pissed at Sherman right after the game. Comments were totally uncalled for, in the moment or not. That being said, "thug" never came to my mind.

Lol At everyone arguing over a clip that's almost a year old. There are NCAA conference tournament scores from last year being scrolled at the bottom the screen. There are actually people who think this is recent.
Anyway, Skip had trolled Sherman on Twitter leading up to that interview. Skip got exactly we deserved & what ESPN wanted. Somebody must have went & dug up this interview since Sherman has been in the media since Sunday.
