It's time to shake it up.
Maybe with ESPN network CBS will figure out the competition before they lose the valuable SEC property of Sat college football.

His love infatuation with Tebow, Greene and Pollack, McCarron, Johnny Football gets old.

The constant harping on legal situations through the whole season is bad too.

I get you need to report on Hill and Mettenberger's legal issues but not every single game.

The Golden Throat is a god amongst men, and when he's done in the booth a darkness will cover the land, cattle will perish and the fields will fall fallow. Your ears will sew themselves up, for there is nothing more to be heard that is worth hearing, once the mighty Verne has quieted the thunder.

My farts have more intelligence than him.

Additionally, they smell better than his breath.

He's actively tried to troll LSU in our last two games.

I would imagine Verne also ticked off the producer for guffawing loudly when they put 1st and 99 on

yes this was awkward. graphic mistakes happen. if someone guffawed at every one of Verne's mistakes it would be a laugh track to a 70's sitcom the entire broadcast

I think the pre game rehearsals of all the ridiculous names these players have just wear him out to the point where he can't call the game right.

"Tree Dave EE us?" ooooohh "Truh davee-us"

I'm pretty sure I heard him say "another Atlanta first down" after Jeremy Hill ran for a first down.

I don't mind Danelson. Verne used to be so good, but his best days are long gone.

They should bring in the GOAT Dream Team: Gus Johnson and Gruden. The booth might implode with enthusiasm.

I used to defend Verne and Gary until Auburn/LSU 2010 when they were literally SCREAMING for 8 minutes straight about how Cam "ACCELERATED" when PP7 ran up on him and how it was the greatest ACCELERATING Heisman run EVER! ACCELERATE!

Yes he did troll. his line" what they don't have is Drew Alley-mon" was a not so subtle troll. it was obvious since he was talking about florida's kicker. he should be above stuff like that

I forget what Bama game it was, but he thought Mark Barron was playing offense when it was actually Marquise Maze.

I enjoy listening to Danielson during interviews. He knows his stuff and is usually pretty fair. I would like to see him with someone other than Verne in the booth.
