Lol this loss still doesn't hurt ND in the 12 team era.

Sure it does
They’ll get blasted by Miami and the two Ls keep them out

By itself no. If Miami beats them then what win do they have?

If ND is in the top 12, they are guaranteed a spot. Like truly in writing guaranteed. If they lose to number 1 Miami and win the rest, they will make the top 12.

If they lose to Miami don't be surprised if they vote ND at #13 just out of principle. They should at least. Especially if they're using a SOS metric this year like they announced.

Upsets in general will have no huge impact on anyone anymore in the 24 team field, will cost some seeding here and there, but the big boys have spots almost guaranteed which is sad.

I'm not sure they lose to Miami. I'm not even sure ND drops out of the top 5

But ND only plays two teams with a pulse. If they lose both do they deserve a playoff spot?

Then BYU baws about to be soaking

It’s not going to hurt them in a 12 team playoff. You dumb rednecks don’t realize that byu just stole a spot from the SEC

The only real chance for a loss is the holy war

Don't think more than one big 12 team gets in.

Losses like this shouldn't hurt undefeated teams. They dropped one game to #8
It's losses like Texas is gonna take to Ole Miss next week that's gonna be bullshite

When Traore went out on the targeting tonight, we were down two potential first rounders on defense. Tae Johnson will be back next week (who hasn’t played since Wisconsin), and Traore soon thereafter.
I’ll be 1000% clear: our loss tonight was on Denbrock and there is 0% liability on anyone else.
We’ll get two first rounders on defense back who didn’t play tonight for Miami, and our defense will look completely different.

100% and to be fair, I do believe they will be out of the top 12 if they lose to Miami. Just was saying that this game by itself does nothing to hurt their playoff chances if they run the table
