Give me Jordan and Kobe over lebron any day. Both take playing defense seriously never taking a play off and both have that killer instinct that wants the ball to win the game.

I am not a fan of LeBron, but I don't think this is a huge deal. He has always conserved energy by taking some plays off on defense. Nobody can make every play on offense and on defense.

BTW, Jordan wouldn't have had to make that play because Pippen or Rodman would have. People forget how great Pip and the Worm were.

You’re right about Jordan. You’re dead wrong about Kobe. Kobe isn’t anywhere near LeBrons level.

Three pages of Lebron hate for not getting back on defense on one play, when he’s legitimatelt famous for his chase down blocks. And in fact had a chase down block against Andre Iguodala in the final seconds of game 7 to complete the greatest finals comeback in nba history.

Yeah he’s not busting his arse every play on defense of the first round for a shite team where he has to play 45 minutes at age 33 for them to even be competitive.

This entire thread is indicative of the American populace’s decline into hyperbole and rhetoric with no semblance of logic or proof to back up their histrionics

Solid post!!! LeBron is one of the best defenders in the NBA. Haters are everywhere these days. Hell he came up with a huge block on Oladipo in the final minutes of last nights game, when the game was neck and neck. LeBron can literally guard all 5 positions. I love MJ and Kobe too, but neither could guard 5 positions on the floor.

I know y'all remember when Kobe was guarding lebron in the all star game in 2012 and Kobe wanted lebron to take the last shot and he passed on it twice. Kobe was pissed because he didn't take the shot lol.

The same Kobe who never made it out of the first round without the best frontcourt in the nba? And who was the best player on exactly one of his 5 title teams(look it up Gasol had a higher rating than Kobe for the 2010 title)?

But yeah let’s focus on an all star game to say Kobe was the better player

You mean the same Kobe who stopped playing defense entirely when he was at LeBron's current age?

Do we really know what happened or is it a lot of disinformation to muddle the truth?

LeBron definitely hand picks his team..it's pretty apparent in how he is. He's meticulous to a fault

If by some miracle, LeBron takes his talents to the third coast it needs to be under the stipulation from D'Antoni & Morey that he shut up and do his job on the court. We will pick your teammates.

And yes once again...its either Philly or Houston, with a lottery pick of LA

I think Kyrie was out because of Lebron. Wade was a horrible horrible backup plan of some sort

Players are inherently stupid. Need proof?
