The OT is full of people that think Luke Bryan is quality music and Mich. Ultras are the pinnacle of beer.

I thought back when he debuted he was kind of interesting. That was like 12 years ago and I was in a different phase of life but there were definitely worse acts at the time. Didn’t know he was even remotely relevant anymore.

I loved hip hop 20 years ago but I’m not sure I’ve heard a decent song from the genre in 10 years.

I am not a classically trained music critic, nor have I ever proclaimed to have a better ear for music than anyone else. In fact, the older I get, the more opposite I feel about people liking pop music or not knowing about/liking the artists and bands that I like (meaning I’m much more “you do you”).

I also understand every artist has his own style that make a unique sound that is identifiable, but when it’s legitimately difficult to discern when one song ends and another begins on Spotify random shuffle of an artists it’s well beyond a style, and much closer to it all sounding the same.
