I'd like to see the field goal posts narrowed or the crossbar raised in the NFL, kickers nowadays are way better than they used to be

Breaking away from the action on the field so that the bowl sponsor can be interviewed:

"We at Churches Chicken believe that we have a strong responsibility to the community to provide opportunities for everyone."

Loud cheer heard as a TD is scored that we can't see.

"So, we at Churches Chicken are proud to establish this scholarship....."

The number one thing that gets under my skin in all of sports is pulling a basketball player once they have 2-3 fouls. It's the most statistically oblivious strategy in all of sports. I see so many star players end up playing 25 minutes in a tight game and ending up with 3 fouls.

this is so fricking annoying. the only thing i find equally frustrating is not going for it in certain fourth down scenarios. there are obvious times when you are on the good side of the 50 and it's 4th and 2 and these frickers always punt for that huge 30 yard net instead of going for it. idiotic.

Do away with post football game coaches handshake. It's so pointless and retarded. Baseball actually has it right- winners get the field, losers get the locker room

Stop interviewing coaches on the way to and from halftime like they are actually going to give you insight into their adjustments

The Gatorade bath has gotten waaayyyyy out of hand

These pretty much only exist to give the viewer another minute checking out the hot sideline girl and once in a blue moon getting to see a coach let go of the filter and say something funny.

yeah unless i had the best punter in the entire country I'd definitely be much more aggressive in these situations. Time and time again you see the punter try to get cute with the punt and the ball goes from like the 43 to the 23. Not worth it. And damn half the time they kick it into the endzone anyways.

If the WNBA still exists, it should go away.

Obligatory shot of Jack Nicholson at the Laker game and Spike Lee at the Knicks game. They have season tickets. WE GET IT.

I know Jim Hawthorne does his job well but with baseball season approaching us, I don't like how each entity on the field or the stadium has a sponsor.

"The first inning is brought to you by Hollingsworth Mazda" or We have a Borden Milk pitching change and here comes Cotton into the game. Or, Live from the Mazda Booth, this is Jim Hawthorne along with Charley Hannigriff.

The closing stats for the game is brought to you by Burger King.

And then there is the real anxiety of the game when the opponent has the bases loaded with one out and a tied game in the ninth inning. Jim then rambles off about 3 or 4 sponsors in between pitches. Trust me, I am so nervous, I don't here a thing Jim is rambling about. I just care if our pitcher is getting the next two outs. I am not thinking about McDonald's Big Mac at that particular moment.

I'm a huge fan of the take a player out with 2 fouls in the first half and 3 in the 3rd quarter. Last game I coached I left my best big in with 3 fouls in the middle of 3rd. He picked up his 4th the next play. Took him out. Put him back in with 3 minutes to go in the 4th. Fouls out 3" seconds later. He also sucked on defense in those few possessions because he was scared to foul.

its pretty much directly responsible for the erosion of fundamentals in American players.
