4.) LSU's best football season by far was still bested by Bama.

Should have an asterisk by this. LSU beat Alabama's arse on their on home field that year. LSU was 1-1 vs Bama. LSU finished as SEC champion while Alabama finished 3rd place in the SEC. LSU had freaking LES MILES coaching them in the national championship game. Les Miles left an undefeated 9-0 Senior quarterback on the bench the entire game while LSU's offense could not ever cross midfield for quarters. You give Alabama Les Miles as their coach for that game and LSU blows them out.

Awesome facilities at South Alabama.

And the crowds at a home game.

At least you can buy beer at the game though.

NCAA OT rules. Whose idea was it to start each possession in FG range?

At Alabama, nothing is in FG range. Dammit...

The braves thing is funny when u realize the braves are the oldest franchise in the major leagues. The braves were originally the boston red stockings and were founded in 1871. The marlins have more world series

Chalmette has beaten Holy Cross 5 times in 35 years in football

we didn't win a state championship in basketball with Mitchell Robinson

the Saints only have one Super Bowl with one of the GOAT quarterbacks

the Pelicans franchise has one playoff series win with the greatest point guard and greatest power forward of the decade

the GOAT college baseball program has one title since 2000

i'll probably never see the USA win a World Cup in my lifetime, nor will i ever see New Orleans host a top level professional club

Lol what?

Alabama owned that game but missed field goals killed them. LSU was lucky to win but a win is a win, especially on the road.

I mentioned the Atlanta Braves.

The franchise has more than 1 title. Just 1 in ATL tho

Saints v. Niners in 2011 playoffs. If they hold on in that game I think there is a very good chance they beat the NYG in the Dome the following week and NE in the SB. Brees would have 2 championships, one each head-to-head against Manning and Brady.

The week of January 9-14, 2012 really sucked. The NC debacle and Saints loss happened within 5 days.

the Stoernover in the Ark-Tenn game in '98
the blowing the 14 pt lead in the TX-ARK Big shootout in '69

GT winning 6 games in the 3 seasons I was a student
GT 4-23 my senior year

the Packers probably only getting 1 Super Bowl each for about 30 years total of Favre/Rodgers QBing, still better than having 40 starters or whatever the Bears will have in that time frame

Cards get swept in 2004 with their best team since 2004 then win in 2006 with one of their worst

The lakers left minnesota, the land of lakes.

The rochester royals left for cincinnati, kc, omaha and sacto.
Only nba champs in rochester.

The warriors left philadelphia

The ny baseball giants left nyc.

The dodgers who are named for pedestrians, moved to where no one walks.

Dr j was stolen from the long island nets.

The st louis hawks are in the atl.
I so wanted mutumbo, mookie, dominique and ehlo to beat mj.

LSU could win 25 straight games against Alabama and still have a losing record in the overall series.

I don't even know where to start with this post. LSU won the 1st game, but in no way did they "beat Alabama's arse". Alabama didn't finish 3rd in the SEC. That's not how that works. That senior QB Miles left on the bench almost threw more INTs than completions against Alabama in his career. He wasn't going to do much better than Jefferson.

Over his career against Alabama, Lee completed 24 of 58 passes (41%), threw for 1 TD and 7 INTs. That's the guy you wanted to come off the bench?

Not all baseball fields are the same dimensions. Even more frustrating to me that there are MLB fields with hills, and some with sharp angles and nooks.

Just to correct the record, if you are referring to "Tal's Hill" in Houston, it has been removed. They renovated the center field area and put in a nice restaurant, centerfield backdrop, and a viewing area.

Why Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf could not stay in the NBA and become a sure fire Hall of Famer ? The crossover and the quickness. The shooting prowess. He was Curry before Curry was Curry. Chris Jackson could have been a legend !!!
