Real difficult choice to stick with a coach that just won a NC

If there was still a 4 team playoff last year Ohio State doesn’t make, would Day still be there? No way to know for sure but don’t kind yourself his seat was scorching after the Michigan loss.

He was better than Saban's first 3 years.

Now do Saban's 4th year through 8 games.

What a ridiculous profession these days when your Boss is controlled by drunk fans and Internet vitriol with the patience of an 8 year-old girl wanting Ice Cream NOW!

Held players accountable.
He may have done that at Notre Dame, but I'm not sure that's what it was. I thought he was a good hire because I thought he was that kind of coach. Then we found out he just liked to act mad to take the pressure off of himself. He just liked to get all red-faced and yell at players and assistants. He wanted everyone to think he knew exactly what was going on. He was that kind of guy. An outright punk. He just got mad when things didn't go well. That made him a liability. He may have fooled us, but he didn't fool the players.
