Where are you seeing this? I haven’t seen it pop up anywhere that the team has even put a trade value on him.

That being said, Houston isn’t trading him.

As a Browns fan that’s not much looking back... It’s a Mingo, Corey Coleman, Justin Gilbert, Nate orchard, Christian Kirksey, Emmanuel Ogbah and OBJ

Two threads where you are saying Deshaun Watson is overrated/the equivalent of Kurt Cousins, and in the other saying Justin Fields should be considered for the top pick over Trevor Lawrence. Can’t wait for your take in 2022 when DJ Uiagalelei is a projected top-10 pick, and you think he should go undrafted.

If I’m Urban I’d offer Jags 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks and see where that gets them

What I meant is I would not give up 3- 1st round picks, 3- 2nd round picks...and an All-Pro for Watson.

I would trade a kicker for Watson.

DJ Uagalelei would go undrafted in 2022 because he isn't eligible for the NFL Draft until 2023 soooooooooooo

Zero chance the Jags give up all that to a division rival for a QB who has won jackshit.

For Mahomes or Josh Allen or even Lamar Jackson? Maybe yeah. If the Jags throw in that much this season, Watson, Watt, and at least one other starter would be required.

Just because you don’t like my takes doesn’t change the fact that they are money.

But anyways, so other than the Saints, who else do we consider as valid suitors?

having a top 5 QB for the next 6-9 years is worth it, IMO

ETA: Especially the way the Saints roster is currently constructed

So here is the business decision. Do you spend that amount ....which is an incredible amount to get Watson. Or do you spend ..much less to move the Jags out of their pick and take Lawrence

I think TL is on par or better than Watson while at Clemson. To me i take lawrence and the extra players to go with him

This.

JJ is probably gone for totally different reasons, but the loss of both in the same year will have a huge fallout with fans.

Having Easterby in the building is pissing off enough people alone.

The first test for this GM will be keeping Watson.

Maybe the Pats should get him. They need a franchise QB in the worst way and it’s not like Belichick actually cares about 1st round picks.

That type of deal would hamstring a roster for years
