This is really a fantastic breakdown by KoC.
I don't quite agree about flipping a switch, as it implies(at least how I take it) that they can't really get better as is. I have no doubts they'll improve and get to the playoffs even if they don't make any additions.
But if you're a Rockets fans, some of those deep dives into the numbers have to be absolutely frightening.

I am not deflections anything. We said from day one that the team you take on goat with isn’t the team you open the season with. No team can beat CC in the playoffs cept for GOAT. And there’s a decent chance GOAT can’t either.
