Agreed. The committee works and got it right.

No the point is the new system hasn't ended the controversy. It put OSU in instead of TCU. And we can see how that's turning out.

You didn't learn anything by watching Baylor today? This OSU game isn't over.

Big 12 needs a championship to be taken seriously. Only reason tcu isn't in is because they don't have a championship. They finished their season against Iowa state.

OSU curb stomped Wisconsin.

Point is it doesn;t end the controversy. You can legitimately argue about TCU v. OSU All day long There's a three page thread on it right now. Under the old system the bubble teams were bitching and moaning. Who knows, maybe if one of them had gotten in they would a won too.

You haven't come close to ending the controversy, you haven't solved anything.

It's either agenda or lack of clarity.

TCU had no argument over Baylor let alone FSU or OSU.

Wow!

The two teams who would have made the NC with the old BCS system are eliminated in the semi finals.

Exactly why it should be 6-8 teams.

It should be only conference champions though. No conference champion should be left out for an at large.

Look how hyped the SEC West was and they have been destroyed.

why? to open the door to even more "next teams" and say why it should be 10-14 teams?

Thanks for the playoff! If not we old be stuck with an overrated Alabama team vs a very average Florda State team.

We would have to hear about how great Saban and the Sec are.

No. I would shut the door personally at 6.

If you're arguing about being 6th, then I don't care.

I really still don't care though. The TCU whiney posters have no idea that they lost to Baylor that finished with the same record and would have finished 5th in BCS standings.

It's all knee-jerk idiocy to me. Bowl games are not a testament to a season of games.
