On The Open's app they have some kind of coverage at 3 a.m. Eastern but I'm not sure who or what they're covering.

Man I love everything about this tournament. It may be my favorite week of sports all year. I remember as a kid waking up at 4 am to watch all 12 hours of coverage or whatever it is. I love how they're not the least bit stingy with coverage of the tournament. For the most part if relevant shots are being played then coverage is on. I like how it takes place in the middle of the boiling hot summer here and I can imagine being there where it's 60 and light jacket weather. The weather is supposed to be interesting this week which is awesome. I went two years ago when Phil won and I was kind of disappointed how great the weather was haha. Also this is one of the very few weeks a year where I am perfectly happy that I work the late night shift!

Scoring is looking good really early on. It'll be hilarious if the course averages like 68 in the morning and 78 in the afternoon and then the exact opposite happens tomorrow. There will be lots of pissed off golfers.
