See #7 at Pebble.

Pebble is just a different animal when it comes to US Open courses though. It's just completely atypical when compared to other courses in the US Open rotation.

Pebble is an easy golf course, until the wind starts blowing

This leaderboard is turning out to be pretty good. Now if McIlroy would just come back a little bit, we could have a great US Open Sunday.

Go ahead and throw 13, 14, and 17 in there too.

Rory is fairway and green. He'll be tough to catch, unless he has a few hiccups. He's putting for birdie on #9 and then has 27 to play. A lot can happen, but it's his to win or lose.

I played it 23 years ago, and the 5 I made on 14 was one of the greatest pars in my illustrious golf career.

Yeah, I said birdie. Shanked that.

Looks like birdie is in the bag here for Rory.

Yea, that hole is a bitch...mostly because you have to hit a perfect wedge just to hold the green. That green is ridiculous.

Rory back to -13. The lone blemish of the week remains that double on 18 yesterday.

And had legitimate birdie putts on 1 and 8 that didn't fall.

I didn't hit the green in regulation. Made about a 15 footer with 5 feet of break for the par.
