I think the USGA will give them some tough pins tomorrow. They don't like leaders double digits under par. 
I think tomorrow is the key to McIlroy's chances. Par are better and I think the trophy is his.

I expect he learned a lot at Augusta. I don't think you will see a respeat performance. His caddie is also a key. He's got to keep him focused and if he starts out with a couple of bogies he's got to get in his face and get him concentrating on playing one shot at a time.

I was just looking at the board, and I don't see how this would be possible. There are 72 players currently at +4 or better. Only 6 players currently at +4 or better have yet to finish the 2nd round, so worst case scenario, there will be 66 players at +4 or better at the end of the 2nd round tomorrow morning. It also won't move to +3 because there are 56 players at +3 or better right now, and only 3 players have any chance to get to +3 or better if you concede that no one will make 3 eagles in a row tomorrow morning. The cut will be +4.

A McIlroy/Garcia showdown on Sunday would be awesome. I don't see it though...Sergio doesn't have the putter to win this type of tournament, IMO.
