Quit beating around the bush. He appears non-white, is mormon and very good.

Mormonism will increasingly be demonized in the media in the next six months as the media promotes Obama. Will he get the same mocking that Tebow gets as he's not white? Time will tell....

...I just want to disagree with the line on top of the page. Kobe is the best player of Tim Duncan's generation.

Oh wow, now that I look at him again I can see it, when I first saw the picture I put him at like 6'4 for some reason

His dad Sonny Parker played basketball in the NBA and played in college at A&M. I wish we could get this legacy.

He may not be the best player in this class. Julius Randle from DFW (who LSU is recruiting) may be the best player.

As far as Parker being an A&M legacy, it always amazes me how little it matters where ones parents went to school for athletes.

Andrew Wiggins' dad went to Florida State and most consider them to be the leader at this point, slightly ahead of Kentucky. He is the exception. Many don't even consider their parent's alma mater.

Is that supposed to be impressive? Another star that can't win a championship?

Yes,yes it is. Being anywhere near the next Lebron James would be impressive.

No, he isn't.

I've never seen him ranked above Parker either.

I just watched some highlight videos on youtube. Parker is nasty. Sick handles and a good jumpshot.

I never said he was ranked ahead of Parker. He's not right now. But they are very close and Randle has a chance to move ahead of him. For him to be considered the best player since Lebron, there shouldn't even be an argument who is the best player in his class. Currently, there is an argument.

Howard's religion shtick was so phony that anyone could see right through it. I think Parker may actually end up living according to most Mormon rules, but he isn't going on a mission.

I don't think he is nearly as good as LeBron, either. I watched him play against Miller Grove and Findlay Prep. Outside of his first quarter against Miller Grove, where he was unbelievable, he didn't strike me as being any better than most top 5-10 recruits each year.

If anything, I would rate Wiggins above him. Haven't seen Randle play at all, but he's certainly not coming to LSU. Seems to like Duke, NC State, UNC, and Baylor.
