Zeller, Faried, Davis and Blake are the future of big men.

Meh.

I think he named his tiers incorrectly, but I agree with the point he's trying to make.

Replace Cousins with Faired

Why is Motiejunas up on your list? He just recently started getting minutes, and has been average.

I'd put Ibaka in tier 1. He has the most well rounded game out of them. He'd be an accomplished scorer if it wasn't for being on a team with Westbrook/Durant.

High percentage shooter, has range, rebounds, block shots, can shoot free throws, and scores when given the opportunity to do so.

While Griffin has all the flare, Ibaka is just as good if not better imo.

ibaka is basically emerging as the perfect 4 in today's NBA game

rim protector who can hit jumpers/3s and hits a high % of his FTs. he just needs to become a better facilitator and he's there

i may have him in the wrong tier

fried is quickly becoming a favorite player of mine. hes kinda the "every man" NBA player. weve all played against that guy at the Y and hated him and his relentless hustle. doing it on the NBA stage is amazing to watch. he should be the gold standard for a "great motor," though ironically, hes not white

Let me breakdown the potential of all 4 guys.

Blake 25-11-4 offensive star still mediocre defensively

Zeller consistent 20-12 with above average D

Davis 18-8 perennial DPOY candidate

Faried 14-14 will lead the NBA in rebounds virtually every year.

production and impact dont always go hand in hand.

Cousins shoots 45%. He's 6'11" 260. I just cant take him seriously.
