WTF? KD is the only star they have traded for. And they are winning at the highest level without him, even.

Last night's game was awesome.

When there is parity, people complain about there being no more dynasties. Someone is always going to be unhappy.

Huh? Bulls, Lakers, Celtics, Heat, and now the Warriors. Not much has changed regarding dynasties in the last 25 years.

why wouldn’t the Lakers be the one who started this?

West lost in finals.
Then they got wilt in fa.
Ta da!
Edged mighty bulls Sloan and Chet walker in four out of 7 thrilling close ones (2 in ot!) and then crushed unseld.

The Warriors are proving they can win it all without Durant.

The Warriors (Steph, Klay, and Draymond) threw away an opportunity to go down as one of the greatest teams historically when they decided to take the easy path.

Being a part of a stacked team really isn't anything to be proud of. I could have appreciated the Warriors if they had played with their organic roster and ended up winning championships...even if they lost 1 or 2 along the way. And, they won't get credit for THIS year either...even if they win a couple of series without Durant.

The NBA needs to fix this.

The NBA needs to remove power from the players. The way to do it is to go to a NFL style salary cap where there are no cap limits on contracts but you have a hard cap. The more you try to manage salaries, the more you open yourself up to this kind of stuff.

In a perfect world, you'd remove the guaranteed salaries too. Let teams free up cap space by cutting players.

Especially one that just beat your team in a gut wrenching 7 game series

Durant is an incredible talent and all, but I’m sorry there’s a strain of competitive DNA that he is lacking if you’re making that move. It was unforgivable.

You're really going to fault them for home-growing the team that set the record for regular season wins, then leveraging that into luring away the best free agent available? And in the process weakening their biggest conference threat, and preventing KD from joining another conference rival?

This is just silly sour grapes, I'm sorry.

Y'all enjoy capitalism with CFB, so why turn on it when its the players' turn to be paid?

It's hypocritical.

The ones complaining about kd show utter lack of history of pro basketball.

1. Would they like it better if there were no free agency and players were branded with a hot iron when they were drafted.

Celtics won most years in the 50s. They had the best center, the best point guard, a great outside shooting 6' 8" forward.
No one else had more than two like that.
