The biggest issue is the players are too good. Ten foot rims and the current 3 point line are too easy for these guys.

Explain. You were obviously an NBA fan. How has it gotten worse since around 2011? I’d say it’s been a lot better.

less likable NBA players. I couldn't name half of the stars in the NBA today. Too many free throws and flopping. No defense and players are lazy entitled bums now who will take half the season off for the sniffles. Nothing but majority of bad 3 point shooting all game. Players are soft no inside presence. The final 1:30 of a game is the worst 40 minutes ever. No rivalries. Super teams like lebum started and circled around the league. No more loyalty.

The NFL still has stupid shite woke slogans all over the fields, at least the NBA took that shite off the courts so people didn't have to look at it. But overall their wokeness and LeBron James killed the product

It’s microwave sports by design. The NBA is consumed in 12 second Twitter clips because the games don’t hold anyone’s attention. Now you have nerds who got into the sport later in life and are blown away by the athleticism of the players but these are box score fans who don’t know why anything is happening, they just know “muh stats”. Anyone who knows basketball knows this is shite, even current players and coaches admit it. And this is not to say that the perimeter skill sucks because it doesn’t but that’s all there is and it’s made easy by design. You can’t throw it into the post because if a big moves and bumps somebody it’s an offensive foul and that’s by design as well. Nothing about the game is organic, it’s become secondary to the soap opera daytime media shows. In the past the shows were there to cover the game, now the games serve to give the shows content. It’s totally screwed up,

Nonsensical idiocy from you as usual. The zone D was made legal in 2001, the next 7 of 8 champions were post player led teams lol.

Just because a rule change happened doesn't mean teams played as smart as today.

It's smarter play by the defense drawing charges.
You have a major problem with players doing smarter things (like not playing iso street ball, passing, shooting more 3s, playing better defense, etc.) because you can only understand the less smart version of basketball, so you prefer that dumbed-down street ball. You just don't want to admit that so you try to spin it as "Bad defense" or "bad officiating" because you can't understand it.
This makes all the sense in the world, now.
