Doesn't the clock stay stopped until the ball is set? Or is it the down marker? Either way, it looks like they screwed up. I just went back to watch. Neither was set when the clock started again.

No and Dabo had to use his timeout to stop the clock. Which was a good call by him but I wonder if time "runs out" if they don't put the clock back at 12 and still has his TO

They actually ran 2 additional seconds off the clock, then started it early so another 5 seconds ran before the TO.
And the only put 3 seconds back. Just a total frickup all around that cost Clemson points

Just went back and watched again. The clock ran for 4 seconds before the chains were set. It ran for 3 seconds before the ball was set. Clemson would have had 10 seconds left and a timeout if the refs handled it properly.
