The Knicks winning it all would be the best thing for the nba

As much as the league as struggles nyc winning a title will give it a boost and in fact will boost all sports in general as the entire sports landscape has gotten a bit stale post covid

Even if they lose they will still be a topic in sports media. I remember when they were going through the Marbury years and were on every sports talk program because of how much dick they sucked (and were getting sucked off the floor)

A NYC team winning does nothing because they're going to be a media topic no matter what. Wemby announcing himself as the face of the league by taking down OKC then the Knicks is the best thing.

The Knicks are the most over-hyped franchise in North American sports.
However, the 2025-26 version is somehow underrated. I would love to see them knock off the Spurs-Thunder winner.

Think I’m a believer in the Knicks. Can’t quite convince myself that they can beat the Thunder but I could see a matchup against the Spurs being very interesting.

But it's not actually for the title. That series is gonna take a ton out of whoever wins whereas the Knicks are in a layup line against the Cavs since gm 2.
